About Black Doves
Black Doves follows Helen Webb, a politician wife who passes secrets to the Black Doves group, after her lover is shot. Season 1 runs six episodes across December 2024 as Helen pairs with hitman Sam Young to find who ordered the hit before Christmas.
Netflix renewed the show before season 1 even aired, with Joe Barton returning and filming planned around the London setting. Season 2 has no air date yet but continues the same team rather than rebooting. Watch season 1 first since the finale names the buyer.
Good to know
Watch season 1 episodes 1 to 6, then season 2 once it airs. The story runs straight with no anthology resets, so release order matches story order. The finale twist sets the next job, which is why the renewal came early. Check back for a firm date before starting a full rewatch with season 2 added at the end.
