About Boss
Boss follows Chicago Mayor Tom Kane, played by Kelsey Grammer, hiding a neurological disease while holding power across two Starz seasons from 2011 to 2012. Created by Farhad Safinia, the run totals 18 episodes of machine politics at its darkest.
Watch season one before season two since the cover up compounds. Renewed before the premiere but cancelled in November 2012 over ratings, the October finale closed the run, with a discussed wrap up film never made after Safinia declined to proceed further.
Good to know
Release order matches story order across a linear two season run, so no alternate list is needed. Season one runs eight episodes with ten in season two. Grammer won the Golden Globe for the role against strong competition, and with the film scrapped these eighteen episodes are the complete guide to Kane.
