About Brass Eye
Brass Eye from 1997 runs six spoof news shows across animals, drugs, science, sex, crime and decline, with celebrities tricked into absurd campaigns. Morris fronts each as a deadpan anchor while the writing team packs sketches around him. The run drew complaints and edits from Channel 4 chiefs throughout.
Paedogeddon from July 2001 closes the run as a one off special on media panic, drawing thousands of complaints and an apology. A 2017 compilation film reuses outtakes for fans. Watch the six 1997 shows first in broadcast order, then the special, since it assumes the format.
Good to know
Broadcast order is the only order, since the special answers the whole series. Start with Animals for the tone setter, then take Drugs and Science as the peak dupings. Paedogeddon stays controversial, so expect a harder watch than the series. The run is closed, with Morris moving to Jam and Four Lions after.
