About Galavant
Galavant follows fallen hero Galavant chasing Madalena from King Richard with Isabella and Sid. Season 1 ran 8 episodes from January 4 to January 25, 2015 on ABC in paired Sunday airings. Season 2 ran 10 episodes from January 3 to January 31, 2016. Dan Fogelman created it with Alan Menken and Glenn Slater songs.
ABC cancelled it after Season 2, so the January 2016 finale is the end. The show aired as a January filler musical, which is why both runs are short and dense. No revival has been ordered despite cast interest.
Good to know
Release order is the whole guide, since each episode ends mid quest. Season 1 sets Galavant and Isabella, Season 2 pays off Richard and Madalena shifts. The paired airings mean two episodes per night originally, but streaming order matches that anyway. With 18 episodes total, this is a weekend watch that should not be shuffled.
