About George Lopez
George Lopez stars the comedian as a plant manager in Los Angeles juggling work, his wife Angie, kids Carmen and Max, and his mother Benny. Constance Marie, Valente Rodriguez, Masiela Lusha and Belita Moreno round out the core cast, with Low Rider by War as the theme.
ABC aired it from March 2002 to May 2007 across four different time slots, often against American Idol. The show still pulled solid numbers and ran 120 episodes before the network canceled it for cost reasons. Later Lopez shows like Saint George and Lopez vs Lopez are separate continuities.
Good to know
Watch seasons 1 through 6 in air order. There are no crossovers to place and no prequel to slot in, since the later Lopez series reboot the premise rather than continue it. The run is complete, which makes it a straight six season watch from the short four episode first season to the 18 episode closer.
