About Hey Dude
Hey Dude follows ranch hands Ted, Brad, Lucy, Danny and Jake at Bar None across five seasons and 65 episodes near Tucson. Early seasons from 1989 set the guest star plots, the horse work, and the Mr Ernst schemes with Melody and Kyle ranch hands.
Later seasons through 1991 move to the staff romances, the Buddy Ernst gags, and farewell with Jake arrival and Holly interest. The rodeo contests and hayride plots carry weeks plus guest ranchers. Watch in release order since crew bonds stack. The run closed in 1991 with no revival announced.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for Hey Dude worth listing, since release order matches the ranch years from arrival to farewell. The guest plots repeat weekly at the dude ranch, but the crew needs season 1 first for bonds. Watch all five seasons straight through for the full Bar None arc in order.
