Industry follows grad hires at Pierpoint bank in London as Harper, Yasmin and Robert fight for desks through deals, drugs and layoffs. Season 1 (2020) covers the grad scheme, season 2 (2022) follows the post crash desks, season 3 (2024) adds the green energy IPO and a wedding. Season 4 (2026) premiered January 11, 2026 with 8 episodes on fintech pressure and new leads including Kit Harington.
Mickey Down and Konrad Kay created the show with HBO and BBC Two. Cast turns over as desks close, but Harper's arc runs through all four years. Watch in broadcast order, since firings, affairs and share prices carry straight into the next premiere.
Good to know
Broadcast order is story order, with no anthology reset to use as a shortcut. Harper's exit and return only makes sense if you saw the desk fight that caused it. Season 3 ends on a deal that season 4 picks up directly. Treat season 4 as latest rather than last, since HBO has not closed the show and London finance still has room to fall.
