The IT Crowd follows Roy and Moss in the Reynholm Industries basement with their manager Jen, across four series and a farewell special from 2006 to 2013. The 24 episodes plus the 2013 closer form one of the tightest British sitcom runs.
Watch series one through four in broadcast order, then the farewell special. The show is episodic with running gags that compound, so order carries the payoffs more than any plot. The special was written as the ending, reuniting the trio for one last basement disaster.
Good to know
The unaired American pilot with a different cast never became a series, so it stays out of the list entirely for viewers here. Graham Linehan's run ends with the 2013 special by design, not cancellation drift at all. No revival is in development now, leaving the basement doors closed for good at 25 entries.
