About Land of Women
Land of Women follows Gala, played by Eva Longoria, who flees New York with her mother Julia and daughter Kate to the Spanish wine town where Julia grew up. Episodes 1 and 2 premiered June 26, 2024, then one arrived weekly on Wednesdays through July 24, 2024. Carmen Maura plays Julia with Victoria Bazua as Kate.
The six episodes adapt Sandra Barneda novel La tierra de las mujeres. The finale ends on a cliffhanger meant to set up a second season. As of October 2026 no second season has been ordered, though Longoria and the writers have said they have ideas.
Good to know
Watch chapters 1 through 6 as released. The present flight story carries the season with short past scenes that do not form a second timeline. Chapter 1 sets the debt and the escape, middle chapters cover the vineyard and the neighbors, chapter 6 closes the first harvest with threads open. If a second season is ordered, it would follow chapter 6 directly.
