About Little America
Little America adapts true immigrant stories from Epic Magazine for Apple TV Plus. Season one from January 2020 runs eight half hour films including The Cowboy about an Oklahoma baker and The Jaguar about a squash teen. Creators Kumail Nanjiani, Emily Gordon and Lee Eisenberg keep each cast separate.
Season two from December 2022 runs eight more including a Nigerian fashion student and a Korean baseball teen. Apple has not ordered a third season as of September 2026, so the sixteen standalones form the complete run. Each episode lists its real subject in the credits.
Good to know
There is no plot order since no character returns. Release order works best because season two trusts the format and takes bigger tonal swings. Start with The Cowboy or The Jaguar for the clearest statement of the show. The 2020 run assumes no prior knowledge at all. Treat the sixteen as closed unless Apple orders more true tales.
