About Love Death Robots
Love Death Robots is a Netflix anthology of standalone animated shorts about robots, monsters and futures. Volume 1 from 2019 has eighteen shorts that set the range from Sonnie Edge to Zima Blue. Each short stands alone.
Volume 2 from 2021 has eight shorts, Volume 3 from 2022 has nine, and Volume 4 from 2025 adds nine more with new studios. The series is ongoing with no end dated. Watch volumes one through four in order, since later shorts riff on the range the early ones set. Shorts stand alone per studio, but robot and future themes grow with each volume across the anthology.

There is no story order, since shorts share no continuity to untangle. Release order works best because animation tools and joke range grow by volume.
