About Mad About You
Mad About You was created by Reiser and Danny Jacobson for NBC, following Paul and Jamie Buchman with Ira, Lisa and Murray the dog. Seasons one through seven ran 1992 to 1999 with 164 episodes of newlywed to parent arcs.
Season eight revived the show in 2019 on Spectrum with twelve episodes of empty nest college drop off with Mabel played by Abby Quinn. Watch seasons one through seven first for marriage to baby beats, then season eight for later reckoning. The finale lands after full Murray and Ursula lore from Friends crossovers.
Good to know
Broadcast order matches marriage order across 176 episodes with no spinoffs. Start with season one for Romantic Improvisations setup that powers later Murray gags. Season eight revival pays off only after full original run context. As an ended run with revival closed, all eight entries form the complete guide.
