About Mrs America
Mrs America follows Phyllis Schlafly against Gloria Steinem, Shirley Chisholm and Bella Abzug over the Equal Rights Amendment. Cate Blanchett plays Schlafly with Rose Byrne, Uzo Aduba and Margo Martindale.
Hulu billed the run as a limited series with one season and nine episodes. No second season was ordered. Episode titles track figures from Phyllis through Jill, Bella, Houston and Reagan. The story stays in the 1970s with no modern frame to reorder.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 9 as aired. Start with the April 15 triple for Phyllis, Gloria and Shirley setup, continue through Betty and Jill hours, then finish Bella, Houston and Reagan. Each hour centers one figure but builds the same ERA vote together. No film follows. Keep airdate order for the nine.
