About My Brilliant Friend
My Brilliant Friend follows Elena Greco and Lila Cerullo from Naples childhood across four seasons. Season 1 from 2018 sets the dolls, school split, and wedding break across eight episodes.
Season 2 from 2020 moves to the Pisa years and factory turn, season 3 from 2022 to the middle age books, season 4 from 2024 closes the reunion and loss. Saverio Costanzo directed the HBO Rai run with Naples streets, Ischia beaches, and strike detail. Watch in release order since decades stack. It closed in 2024 after four novels.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for My Brilliant Friend worth listing, since release order matches novel order from childhood to reunion. Flash frames open each season but return fast to plot. Watch seasons 1 through 4 for the Elena and Lila arc. Ischia beach wedding and Pisa exams need season 1.
