Night Court follows Judge Harry Stone on the Manhattan night shift with Dan, Bull, Roz and Christine. The original ran nine seasons from 1984 to 1992 with 193 episodes, built on weekly cases plus the slow Dan reform and Harry magic bets. It closed as an NBC staple.
A revival arrived in 2023 with Abby Stone, Harry daughter, on the same night shift with Dan returning, running three seasons to 2025. It acts as a continuation with a new bench. Watch the original straight through, then the revival, since Dan callbacks only land with the 1980s run behind them.
