About Outcast
Outcast adapts Robert Kirkman with Kyle Barnes repelling demons in Rome, West Virginia with Reverend Anderson. Season 1 ran 10 episodes from June 3 to August 12, 2016 on Cinemax covering the basement siege. Season 2 ran 10 episodes from July 2017 to September 2018 continuing the Great Merge with new possessed.
Patrick Fugit leads with Philip Glenister as Anderson. Cinemax cancelled it after two runs. No film continuation has been made. The comics continue past the show with different beats, so keep them separate from this TV list.
Good to know
Broadcast order is story order with the Merge building across both seasons. Season 2 assumes you know Kyle's touch rules and Anderson's fall. The finale sets up a wider war that never filmed, which is worth knowing before starting. With 20 episodes total, this is a closed TV run that ends on setup rather than full closure.
