About Parasyte: The Grey
Parasyte The Grey is Yeon Sang-ho's 2024 Korean branch of the Parasyte mythos, following Jeong Su-in coexisting with her parasite Heidi. Six episodes dropped April 5, 2024 on Netflix, with the Grey Team hunting hosts and Shinichi Izumi cameoing in the finale. The migi rules translate cleanly to the new team.
Netflix lists it as a limited series with no return ordered, despite Yeon's season 2 ideas. The six stand as a closed loop. Watch episodes 1 through 6 in order since the Heidi truce and the Grey hunt build across the single drop.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 6 in order. The host rules and the Grey Team tactics stack across the six, so the Izumi cameo only lands whole. The anime and manga sit behind the spinoff as background, never required. No second season is ordered by Netflix. The six stand as a complete branch of the mythos.
