Peaky Blinders Watch Order

Six BBC series from 2013 to 2022 plus the Netflix film The Immortal Man, released in March 2026, in one list that works as both release order and timeline. The story runs from 1919 Birmingham to the 1940s, with a 1950s sequel series filming now.

Broadcast order, which is also the order the family lives through it. Nothing overlaps and nothing jumps, so the running order below is the whole answer.

About Peaky Blinders

Peaky Blinders is Steven Knight's Birmingham crime saga, told in six BBC series of six episodes each between 2013 and 2022, 36 in total, following Tommy Shelby from the years just after the First World War. Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man arrived in UK cinemas on 6 March 2026 and on Netflix on 20 March 2026, with Cillian Murphy back as Tommy.

There is no second list to argue about: release order and timeline order are the same thing, because every series moves the clock forward. 1919, then 1921 to 1922, then 1924, then the general strike of 1926, then the crash of 1929, then 1933 for the final series and 1940 for the film. The announced sequel series picks the Shelbys up in 1953, so nothing needs rearranging when it lands.

Good to know

The film is out rather than pending: it premiered 2 March 2026 and streams now, so it sits straight after series 6. The next chapter is an untitled sequel series announced in October 2025, two six-episode seasons set in 1953, filming from March 2026 with Jamie Bell as Duke Shelby and no release date yet. Series 6 aired on BBC One from 27 February to 3 April 2022 and reached Netflix later that year.
