About Pennyworth
Pennyworth stars Jack Bannon as young Alfred guarding Thomas Wayne in alternate 1960s London. Season one from July 2019 runs ten episodes on Epix setting the No Name League against the Raven Society with Bet and Bazza. Bruno Heller creates with Gotham nods but separate cast and tone.
Season two from December 2020 runs ten more in a civil war year with Martha arcs. Season three subtitled Hell to Pay moved to HBO Max in October 2022 for ten to the current close. Warner cancelled the show in 2023, so the third finale stands as the end.
Good to know
Watch seasons one to three in order since Bet, Bazza and Thomas arcs carry over directly. Season two assumes you know the S1 Raven queen fate and Alfred club. The show shares Batman names but contradicts Gotham on Alfred age, so treat it separate. No fourth run was ordered despite the 2022 cliffhanger.
