About Profit
Profit follows Jim Profit, a ruthless junior executive climbing the Gracen and Gracen conglomerate by blackmail and murder. The series aired in April 1996 on Fox on Mondays, created by David Greenwalt and John McNamara with Adrian Pasdar in the lead. Only a handful of the eight produced episodes aired before cancellation, with the rest later shown on cable.
There are no sequels or films beyond the 1996 run, so broadcast order is the only path with the unaired hours placed after. The plot builds across the short arc toward boardroom exposure. Watch the aired episodes first then the remaining produced hours for the full corporate climb from first scheme to the final trap.
Good to know
Watch the Fox episodes in broadcast order, then the unaired produced hours to finish the arc. The show tells a closed rise and fall story with no second season, so no extra viewing is needed. The boardroom schemes build across episodes, which is why order matters. The 1996 eight episode set is complete as a cult single run. Broadcast order keeps boardroom schemes and traps clear across the run.
