About Queen of Tears
Queen of Tears follows chaebol heiress Hong Hae-in and her husband Baek Hyun-woo as divorce papers collide with a terminal diagnosis. The 16 episodes aired weekends on tvN from March 9 to April 28, 2024 and streamed on Netflix. Ratings climbed each week to a tvN record for the finale.
Two specials titled Miraculous Recordzip aired May 4 and 5, 2024 on tvN with cast talk and behind-scenes footage. They are not on Netflix in most regions. Watch episodes 1 to 16 first. Add the specials only if you want cast interviews after the story ends.
Good to know
There is no second season and no reason to reorder. Episodes 1 to 16 tell one continuous marriage story with the Germany surgery run in the back half. The two May 2024 specials recap and interview, they do not add plot. Netflix lists 16 episodes. The specials aired on tvN and TVING only. Finish episode 16 before touching them, since clips assume you know the ending.
