Sheriff Country expands Fire Country on CBS from Joan Rater, Tony Phelan and Max Thieriot. Morena Baccarin stars as Sheriff Mickey Fox, stepsister to Sharon Leone, with Matt Lauria, W Earl Brown, Michele Weaver and Christopher Gorham. A backdoor pilot aired as Alert the Sheriff.
Season 1 ran twenty episodes October 2025 into 2026, from the Pilot child case through Firewall, Sixth Man and the Crucible two parter across February. Season 2 premiered October 9, 2026 with Cyclone. Crossovers bring Thieriot over. The Fire Country seasons stand apart, this is its own crime run.

Watch season 1 before season 2. The Crucible two parter bridges the runs, so keep it in place. Crossovers with Fire Country reward both shows but need no strict interleave. Season 2 is airing as of October 2026. Start at the Pilot, the Wes and Skye family stakes frame every case after, with Edgewater crimes testing Mickey weekly.
