About Slasher

Slasher is a Canadian anthology with a new killer each run. The Executioner ran 8 episodes from March 4, 2016 on Chiller with Sarah's return. Guilty Party ran 8 in 2017 at a camp reunion. Solstice ran 8 in 2019 around the solstice murders. Flesh and Blood ran 8 in 2021 on a family island. Ripper ran 8 in 2023 in 19th century streets.

Aaron Martin created it, moving from Chiller to Netflix to Shudder. No sixth season has been ordered. Each run stands alone with a new cast core, so any season works alone, but first-timers should start at the Executioner.

Good to know

Anthology order is flexible, yet release order is recommended for tone ramp. The Executioner sets the formula, Guilty Party sharpens it, Solstice and later runs go harder. Returning faces play new roles each time, which confuses only if you hunt continuity. With Ripper closing the line in 2023, this is a finished five with no shared killer.
