About Snowfall
Snowfall tracks the 1980s crack start in South Central through Franklin, Teddy, Louie and Leon. Season 1 (2017) runs 10 episodes from July 5, 2017 on the first cook. Season 2 (2018) runs 10 on the cartel connect. Season 3 (2020) runs 10 on the DEA squeeze. Season 4 (2021) runs 10 from February 24, 2021 on the Reagan peak. Season 5 (2022) runs 10 on the family split. Season 6 (2023) runs 10 to April 19, 2023 as the final fall.
John Singleton, Eric Amadio and Dave Andron created the FX show for 60 episodes total. The rise only makes sense if you see the early corners before the mansions. Watch in broadcast order, since the Avi money, the Cissy break and the Leon exit stack year to year.
Good to know
Broadcast order is story order, with no anthology reset. Season 1 sets the Franklin Teddy pipeline that every later season tightens or breaks. Season 6 plays as ending, with the finale closing all three crews. Treat the 60 episodes as complete, with no film or spinoff dated and Singleton's arc finished.
