About Snowpiercer
Snowpiercer pairs Bong Joon-ho's 2013 film with a four season TNT and AMC series from 2020 to 2024. The series reboots the premise standalone with new characters Layton and Melanie Cavill rather than continuing the film, running forty episodes across four tens on two networks..
Watch the film first, then the four seasons in order, since the show assumes the basic idea. The final season moved from TNT to AMC before airing in summer 2024, closing the run with no continuation announced. Layton and Melanie Cavill lead the reboot cast for forty episodes.
Good to know
Release order is the viewing order for a reboot sharing only premise, so no chronological list applies. Both draw on the 1982 French graphic novel without sharing plot between them. With the series ended in September 2024, the film plus four seasons are the complete screen run. The final season moved from TNT to AMC before airing in 2024.
