About Speechless
Speechless stars Minnie Driver as Maya moving the DiMeo family for JJ who uses a letter board with Micah Fowler. Season one from September 2016 runs 23 episodes setting Newport school with Kenneth aide and ramp fights. Creator Scott Silveri keeps each episode to one access war and van ride.
Seasons two to three through 2019 add 40 more to 63 total with college and camp plots plus jobs. ABC cancelled the show in May 2019, so the third finale stands as the end. Watch all three for the complete DiMeo run with calm payoffs and toasts.
Good to know
Watch seasons one to three in order since JJ, Dylan and Ray ages carry over directly each year and school. Later runs assume you know the S1 Newport move and S2 Kenneth bond from early wars and ramps. Gags reset weekly but the family fight builds throughout every van ride. Treat the 2019 finale as the planned close with a van toast.
