Strike Back premiered in 2010 on Sky One, adapting Chris Ryan novel work into Section 20 missions. Philip Winchester as Stonebridge and Sullivan Stapleton as Scott anchor the middle years with globe-trotting rescue plots. Later runs hand the team to Daniel MacPherson, Warren Brown, Roxanne McKee, Alin Sumarwata and Jamie Bamber through 2020.
Each season tells a linked mission in weekly parts, so air order matters for team trust and villain returns. Early arcs set Section 20 rules, middle ones deepen Stonebridge and Scott, and later ones reboot the squad with fresh leads.
