About SWAT
SWAT stars Shemar Moore as Daniel Hondo Harrelson leading 20 Squad through gang raids in Los Angeles. Season one from November 2017 runs 22 episodes setting Street, Chris, Tan and Luca with Hicks command. Creators Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan keep each raid to one warrant.
Seasons two to seven through 2025 add over 120 more to 140 total with new teams and Mexico plots. CBS has not closed the show as of September 2026 after prior saves, so the run stands open. Each episode names its raid up front with Hondo's speech.
Good to know
Watch seasons one to seven in order since Hondo, Street and Tan arcs carry over directly each raid. Later runs assume you know the S1 Mumford exit and S2 Cortez command from early warrants. Raids reset weekly but the squad family builds throughout. Treat the 2025 run as the latest pause while CBS weighs more raids.
