About Tacoma FD
Tacoma FD is set in a Tacoma firehouse with few fires to fight, so Chief McConky and Captain Penisi fill time with rivalries, schemes and department politics. Broken Lizard members Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme created it and star, with Eugene Cordero, Hassie Harrison and Gabriel Hogan in the crew.
truTV aired it from March 2019 to October 2023. Season 2 split across the 2020 shutdown, season 3 ran in fall 2021, and season 4 ran July to October 2023. The network canceled it in February 2024 after four seasons.
Good to know
Watch seasons 1 through 4 in air order. The show is episodic with running gags about Penisi family pride and station rivalries, so there is no alternate timeline to manage. The run is complete at 49 episodes, which makes it a short closed watch for Broken Lizard fans from pilot to the October 2023 sendoff.
