About The Astronauts
The Astronauts follows Elliott, Samy, Martin, Doria and Will, who sneak aboard the Odyssey II and launch into space. Nickelodeon aired ten episodes from 2020 to 2021 with Matilda the AI guiding.
Early episodes establish the accidental launch and the oxygen rules. Middle chapters add the meteor repair and the food-shortage vote. Later episodes stage the return burn that closes the flight. The ship systems only unlock after lessons, so skipping ahead hides how kids earn controls. Watching in flight order shows fear turning into teamwork, which makes the final burn feel brave rather than rushed.
Good to know
Watch episodes one through ten in order. The flight only moves forward toward return, with AI hints building. There is no second season to slot elsewhere. New viewers should start at the countdown to meet the five before the wider mission control appears. Stay for short episodes back to back, since cliffhangers pay off quickly.
