About The Big Door Prize
The Big Door Prize follows Deerfield in 2023 across ten episodes after a Morpho machine starts printing life potentials. Early episodes cover Dusty, Cass and the first blue envelopes. The middle run covers the marriage strains and the shop politics.
Season 2 from 2024 deepens the machine lore across ten episodes into the June finale. Watch season 1 first, then season 2. The potentials only matter once the town is known, so the second run assumes the first. Apple cancelled the run in June 2024 after two seasons.
Good to know
Watch season 1 before season 2. The show adapts the M. O. Walsh novel with David West Read running it, and the second season ends on threads the cancellation leaves open. The finale works as a pause rather than a close. No revival had been announced as of October 2026, so the twenty episodes stand as the run.
