Created by Eric Rochant, The Bureau centers on the DGSE department that trains clandestins, agents living under false identities for years. Mathieu Kassovitz stars as Malotru, recalled to Paris after six years in Damascus, alongside Sara Giraudeau, Jean-Pierre Darroussin and Florence Loiret Caille.
Canal+ aired ten episode seasons in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020, fifty episodes in total. The plot builds season to season with returning characters and lasting consequences, so release order is the only sensible path. International viewers may know it from Amazon Prime, Sundance Now or Paramount Plus streams.
Good to know
No separate chronological order is needed because the series tells one linear story across five seasons. Each season picks up consequences from the last, especially Malotru's choices and Marina's missions. One caveat: season titles are simply numbered and episode titles are generic, so match by season number and year. A US remake has been discussed for years but never replaced this version.
