About The Game
The Game follows Melanie and Derwin with the Sabers football crew through deals, births and trades. The show ran three seasons on The CW from 2006 to 2009, then six seasons on BET from 2011 to 2015 with 147 episodes total. School, contracts and marriages build in order.
The BET run continues the same crew with new teams and Vegas moves. There is no reboot or film. Watch seasons one through nine in air order, since every trade, birth and return assumes the prior year. Games stand alone per week, but contract and marriage arcs grow from the CW years to the BET run.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order, since football years run straight with one network gap in between. Do not skip the CW years, because BET payoffs need the college and draft setup. The finale closes each couple and career, so the last seasons need the Sabers base first. Start at season one. Do not skip the CW years, because BET payoffs need the college and draft setup and Sabers base.
