About The Gentlemen
The Gentlemen (2019) follows Mickey Pearson protecting a weed empire in film from Guy Ritchie. The Gentlemen Season 1 (2024) jumps to Eddie Horniman inheriting Halstead with Susie Glass from March 7, 2024 with 8 episodes. Season 2 (2026) runs 8 episodes from September 3, 2026 all at once with Italian expansion. Season 3 was confirmed by Netflix with Ritchie saying ambition accelerated, no premiere date.
The series shares universe with the film but new cast except cameos, with Theo James and Kaya Scodelario leading. Watch film first for Ritchie rules, then S1, S2 in order, since the Halstead weed deal and the Bobby Glass sauna only make sense across runs.
Good to know
Release order is story order, with the film as optional origin before the series. Season 1 sets the Eddie duke weed pact that season 2 expands to Italy. Season 3 was confirmed as inevitable with no date. Treat season 2 as latest released, with season 3 ordered but undated. The 2019 film runs two hours as standalone primer.
