About The Librarians
The Librarians begins with three TV films (2004, 2006, 2008) about Flynn Carsen guarding history's artifacts, then the TNT series (2014 to 2018) expands the Library across four seasons with Eve, Jake, Cassandra and Ezekiel. The films are Flynn's origin; the series is the ensemble's story.
Watch the three films first, then the four seasons: the show assumes Flynn's setup and the Library rules. Jenkins and Charlene bridge both eras. The series balances artifact-of-the-week cases with the season villains (the Serpent Brotherhood, Prospero, Apep). The finale closes the team's arc while leaving the Library open.

Noah Wyle's reduced series role came from scheduling, written in as Flynn's absences rather than an exit: he returns for the arcs that need him. The films play broader than the show's later mythology, which is normal for pilots-to-series growth.
