About The Peripheral
The Peripheral follows Flynne Fisher in 2032 North Carolina who tests a headset that links her to London in 2099. Episodes 1 and 2 premiered October 21, 2022 after a premiere event on October 11 in Los Angeles. The remaining six arrived weekly through December 2, 2022. Chloe Grace Moretz plays Flynne with Jack Reynor as Burton.
Prime Video renewed the show in February 2023, then rescinded the renewal on August 18, 2023 during the writers and actors strikes. The planned six episode second season was scrapped, so the eight episode run is the full story.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 8 in the order they aired. The two time periods are meant to intercut, with Flynne learning the future while the future learns her. Episode 8 ends on an open point because a second season was planned and then canceled. No film or special continues the plot, so the eight episodes stand alone.
