Series 1 from May 2016 introduces Enfield's Charles and the soap version of Wills, Kate, Harry and Pippa across six episodes, closing with a Christmas special. Series 2 from July 2017 adds Meghan into the mix for six more, with a Royal Wedding special in May 2018.
Series 3 from February 2020 runs six episodes with a recast Harry, ending before the real succession. A Coronation special in April 2023 gives Charles his day as the project rests on hold. A fourth run is delayed and may not happen. Watch the three runs with specials after each, in release order.
Good to know
Release order keeps the royal timeline straightest, with specials slotting after their runs. Start with series 1 for the Ebola and referendum highs. The wedding and coronation specials assume their series. Real events overtook the satire after 2022, so expect the later jokes to date fast. The run rests on hold.
