About Widows
Widows is Lynda La Plante Thames heist drama about Dolly Rawlins, Sheila, and Shirley carrying out dead husbands robbery plans. Series one aired six episodes in 1983 around the first ledger job with Ann Mitchell, Maureen O Farrell, and Fiona Hendley. Series two aired six in 1985 as Shes Out sequel with Dolly hunting money.
The second year continues the same ledger fallout. Watch Widows 1 then Widows 2 in order, since the sequel assumes the first job crew and police heat to make sense. US remake and film sit outside.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing. The two Thames series from 1983 to 1985 follow Dolly forward through ledger heist fallout with the same widows, so release order and story order are the same list. She Is Out subtitle marks the second year but it still plays straight after the first.
