About Ocean's
Ocean's started in 1960 with a Rat Pack casino heist led by Frank Sinatra, then restarted in 2001 with George Clooney as Danny Ocean and an eleven-person crew.
The Soderbergh trilogy ran from 2001 to 2007, and Ocean's 8 (2018) follows Danny's sister Debbie with a new crew at the Met Gala.
Good to know
The 1960 film stands alone while the 2001 to 2018 films share one continuity. Warner Brothers dated the untitled 1960s prequel about Danny's parents for June 25, 2027, while Ocean's Fourteen has a finished script and approved budget but no date yet.
