About Wonder Man
Wonder Man follows Simon Williams, a struggling actor played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, as he auditions for a remake of an in universe Wonder Man film. Ben Kingsley returns as Trevor Slattery, with X Mayo, Zlatko Buric and Josh Gad in support. Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest created the show, which runs under the Marvel Spotlight banner.
All eight season 1 episodes dropped on January 27, 2026 as part of Phase Six. Marvel renewed the show in March 2026, with no premiere date set as of October 2026. The Hollywood satire plays light on powers, so newcomers can start here without catching up on the wider saga first.
Good to know
Watch season 1 episodes 1 through 8 in order, then wait for season 2. The story runs straight with no flashback structure to reorder. Episode lengths run 26 to 36 minutes. The first episode went free on YouTube in March 2026, which works as a trial. Season 2 was renewed in March 2026 with Abdul-Mateen and Kingsley expected back, but no date had been set as of this check.
