About Aika
Aika follows salvager Aika Sumeragi with Rion and Gozo on sea jobs against Rudolph. The original OVA from 1997 to 1999 runs seven episodes that set the panty, the bust and the crew rules. It ends with the group proven.
R-16 from 2007 and Zero from 2009 to 2011 act as school prequels with new cases. No new entry has been dated. Watch the original OVA first, then R-16, then Zero, since the prequels assume the salvager base. Jobs stand alone per sea, but panty and crew rules grow from the OVA to R-16 to Zero.
Good to know
Release order works best, with school prequels after the sea original. Story order would put R-16 first, but that spoils the OVA reveals. Any OVA works alone for jobs, but crew trust needs the original base across the salvager years.
