About Ajin
Ajin adapts Gamon Sakurai's manga about Kei Nagai learning he is an immortal Ajin hunted by the government. The film trilogy (2015-2016) from Polygon Pictures tells the Sato hunt first, then season one aired 13 episodes in 2016 and season two aired 13 later that year closing the Forge assault. The OADs revisit side operatives around the same war.
The manga finished with 17 volumes, so the anime covers the complete hunt with no gaps. No sequel has been announced, leaving the second season's truce as the planned close rather than an open thread.
Good to know
Watch the two seasons in broadcast order first, then the film trilogy as its condensed alternate of the Sato war. The CGI style divides fans at first, but the Sato strategy games carry both versions equally well throughout. The OADs fit after as side operations with no required placement for the main hunt.
