About Baccano!
Baccano follows immortals, gangsters and alchemists around the Flying Pussyfoot train across 1711, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933 and 2001. Brain Base produced 13 episodes airing July to November 2007 on WOWOW. Three DVD only specials followed February to May 2008 as episodes 14 through 16 around Graham Specter.
Light novels by Ryohgo Narita run 22 volumes from 2003 to 2016 and sit on hiatus with no anime sequel announced. Do not reorder by year. The jumps are the point, and release order reveals who is immortal when intended. Watch 1 through 13, then the 3 specials.
Good to know
Chronological order would start in 1711 with alchemy, then 1930 to 1933 trains, then 2001 framing, but that flattens every reveal. The guide uses release order only for that reason. The specials continue 1932 to 1933 directly, so they belong last. No second season has been announced as of September 2026.
