About Call of the Night
Call of the Night follows Ko, an insomniac teen wandering the night, meeting vampire Nazuna and testing whether he can fall in love before she drinks his blood. Season 1 ran thirteen episodes from July to September 2022 at LIDENFILMS through his first taste of night life.
Season 2 ran twelve episodes from July to September 2025 deeper into vampire society and Ko's wavering answer. The manga finished in January 2024 after twenty volumes. No third season or film is announced, so the anime rests as a two-season night story.
Good to know
This is a linear night-by-night story, so release order is the only order. Season 1 runs thirteen episodes and season 2 runs twelve, both on Fuji's Noitamina block with Creepy Nuts themes. The manga is complete, but no further anime is confirmed. Watch season 1 first, since Nazuna's rules and Ko's choice build directly into season 2.
