About Dual!
Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure runs thirteen 24 minute TV episodes on WOWOW with Kazuki seeing Hartzenen visions before transport. Directed by Katsuhito Akiyama, the story parodies Evangelion with real dangers and stranger allies across the parallel side.
Final Frontier is a single OVA acting as fourteenth episode conclusion later in 1999 through Geneon. Watch episodes one through thirteen first, then the OVA, since the finale resolves Kazuki return setup. The series links loosely to Tenchi Muyo continuity through GXP novels, but stands alone for viewing.
Good to know
Release order matches story order since the OVA was made as the fourteenth episode closer. Start with TV episode one for vision setup that powers transport and early ally meetings. The OVA finale pays off parallel allies threads, so save it for last. As a completed TV plus OVA run, these two entries form the full guide.
