About Gangsta
Gangsta follows Handymen Worick Arcangelo and Nicolas Brown, fixers in the divided city of Ergastulum, plus ex prostitute Alex Benedetto who joins after a gang wipe. Nic is a Twilight, a superhuman soldier class kept stable by Celebrer, and his deafness shapes how jobs are planned and fought. Early episodes cover street jobs, Alex joining, Twilight tags and the four crime families around Monroe.
The middle stretch exposes the Celebrer supply, the anti Twilight hunt led by the Corsica family and the Monroe and Cristiano defences. The closing run moves into open street war, Nic's past with his handler and a pause point rather than a full stop. Studio Manglobe aired twelve episodes in summer 2015 directed by Shukou Murase from Kohske's manga. Watch episodes 1 through 12 in order.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 12 in broadcast order. The Twilight ranks, Celebrer rules and family territories build episode by episode, so skipping scrambles who hunts whom and why Alex matters. The Kohske manga continues past the anime with more Ergastulum history. No second season has aired, and Manglobe closed after this run, so the twelve stand as the full anime. Subtitles help since Nic signs and speaks in fragments.
