About Getter Robo
Getter Robo starts in 1974 with Ryoma, Hayato and Musashi combining jets into Getter against dinosaurs across 51 episodes. Getter G from 1975 keeps the team with new forms, while Go from 1991 reboots with a new crew.
Armageddon from 1998 retells with OVA force, New from 2004 condenses the manga, and Arc from 2021 continues with Hayato’s son run. Each line resets deaths and rays, so finishing one Getter before the next keeps combines straight. No new Getter TV run had been dated as of September 2026.
Good to know
Start with the 1974 original to learn combine rules well across forms, then G as the direct follow. Go, Armageddon, New and Arc each work as separate reboots after the classics rather than seasons. Arc assumes manga lore most, so save it for last. Treat the set as paused while a new take stays possible.
