About Last Exile
Last Exile follows couriers Claus and Lavie escorting Alvis toward the Exile ship between Anatoray and Disith. The 2003 series runs 26 episodes through Guild trials to the Exile answer. Fam the Silver Wing from 2011 runs 21 episodes with new pilots Fam and Gisey plus returning Dio in a changed sky world.
Watch the 2003 series first since Fam assumes the Exile rules and Guild fallout. Fam works as a distant sequel rather than a remake, so keep them together in release order. No third Exile has been dated, which leaves Fam as the current end with the Grand Exile settled.
Good to know
Release order matches the Exile reveals with the original mystery first and Fam expansion second. The 2003 run sets vanship Schwerer language slowly through deliveries, so give it eight episodes. Fam runs faster with sky pirates, which lands better once Claus Lavie bond is known. Treat Fam as the close with no further Exile pending.
