About Leviathan
Leviathan adapts Scott Westerfeld's trilogy in one twelve episode run. Qubic Pictures and Orange dropped all episodes July 10, 2025 on Netflix under director Christophe Ferreira. Each novel gets a four episode arc, with Clanker mechs against Darwinist fabricated beasts across an alternate 1914.
The arcs run Leviathan, then Behemoth, then Goliath, matching the book order exactly. Episodes run 22 to 29 minutes. The season covers all three books with no sequel announced, so the twelve stand as a complete adaptation. Watch the arcs straight since Alek and Deryn's cross continent chase never resets.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 12 in order. The Istanbul and Tunguska turns assume the storm and Behemoth arcs intact, so the book order baked into the season must hold. No second season is announced. The run adapts the full trilogy, which leaves the novels as background rather than homework. The recap free structure means every listed arc is required.
