About Michiko to Hatchin
Michiko to Hatchin follows escaped convict Michiko Malandro busting supposed daughter Hatchin out of foster care for a chase across a fictional Brazil. The 22 episode Manglobe run from late 2008 into 2009 plays as an episodic road story with the pursuers closing in.
Watch straight through in broadcast order since the chase builds even between standalone stops. Directed by Sayo Yamamoto in her debut with music production from Shinichiro Watanabe, the show stands complete with no movie, OVA or sequel announced.
Good to know
With a single linear season and no extras, release order is the only order and nothing needs rearranging. The Fuji TV run spans October 2008 to March 2009 for 22 episodes. Finished airing long ago with the story resolved, so this one entry is the whole guide with nothing missing for new viewers at all.
